Tree Trimming

The City of Cody Electric Division works throughout the year to maintain a safe and reliable electrical system. Part of this maintenance includes the clearing of branches from electric wires and equipment.

The Tree Trimming Program outlines the purpose for tree trimming, the manner in which the customers will be notified, the amount of clearance needed between power lines and vegetation, the type of tree trimming used, clean-up procedures, and proper planning before you plant trees.
