Obtaining a New Password

Passwords are stored in encrypted formats, so the Information Technology (IT) Division is unable to provide credentials in the event of a forgotten password.

New passwords can be obtained the following way:

1. Submitting an IT support ticket at support.codywy.gov or emailing support@codywy.gov.
   
   
2. Calling an IT staff member.
      •  For verification purposes, calls from a City landline number are preferable.
      •  Calls from unrecognized numbers are likely to warrant verification questions.
   
   
3. Visiting an IT office in person.

It is a City policy to never send a password via email.
