Pubic Hearing – Zoning Ordinance Amendments


Cody City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 7:00 PM at City Hall (1338 Rumsey Avenue) to consider if it is in the public's interest to amend Supplemental Development Standards for Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts (Title 10, Chapter 11).

The primary amendments would include: updating the bed and breakfast and short-term rental regulations to reflect the residential zone standards; adding placement standards for manufactured homes; and adopting standards for future multi-family projects containing more than four units in commercial zones located outside of the downtown architectural district. In addition to the City Council public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Board will accept public comments regarding the proposal at their January 24, 2023 meeting held at 12:00 PM in City Council Chambers to formulate their recommendation on the proposal for the City Council.
