The Cody Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Board has developed proposed zoning ordinance amendments to City Code Title 10, Chapter 10, Articles C (Open Business/Light Industrial zone), E (Industrial Zone), and F (Heavy Industrial zone) and is requesting community review and comments on the proposals.
The amendments primarily relate to: better defining and classifying uses involving hazardous materials; requiring a conditional use review for proposed uses that have ongoing air quality, odor, or groundwater impacts; and clarifying the application and review process(es) required for development on airport land. Comments on the proposed changes can be made at the P&Z Board meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 12:00 PM at City Hall or at the public hearing before City Council on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 7:00 PM at City Hall (1338 Rumsey Avenue).
