LDS Temple Construction Project Proposal

LDS Temple

The Cody Planning and Zoning Board held a meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Cody Auditorium, located at 1240 Beck Avenue, to further consider the site plan for the temple project proposed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The meeting's agenda can be viewed at the link below.

The proposal includes the construction of a temple, ancillary building, street, and associated improvements on a 4.69-acre parcel, as well as an entrance road on an adjacent right-of-way. The property is located just west of Skyline Drive and north of the Cody Canal, about 400 feet north of the Olive Glenn Drive intersection (Tract B2 of the Record of Survey showing Boundary Line Adjustment recorded in Plat Cabinet P, Page 197, Records of the Park County Clerk and Recorder).
