Emily Swett was appointed to Council in 2021 and will serve through 2024.

Emily Swett has lived in Cody since early 2017. She was born and grew up in Rochester, NY but began visiting Cody and the 7D Ranch in Sunlight Basin with her family in 1993. She obtained a Bachelor of Art degree from Amherst College with a double-major in economics and French. Upon graduating from Amherst, she spent three years working for Credit Suisse in Manhattan where she worked in the investment banking and private banking divisions. 

Since moving to Cody, she has become involved in various community engagements. She participated in Park County Leadership Institute’s Class XII from 2018 through 2019, coaches swimming for both Cody High School, coaches swimming for the CKATs club team, teaches yoga at Firefly Yoga and Wellness, and is also a member-at-large of the Shoshone Recreation District Board. Additionally, she serves on the Wyoming Swimming Board of Directors. Emily runs her own coaching and consulting business, Don’t Swett It, LLC, and is currently obtaining her Master of Science in youth development leadership from Clemson University. 

Emily and her boyfriend, Brian, live in Ward 3 and enjoy exploring Park County with their three dogs whenever they have a chance.
