Jerry Fritz is a Cody native and has been a part of the Cody Community his entire life.

In addition to being a part of the Cody City Council (initially elected in 2010 and reelected in 2014, 2018, and 2021), he has been an active member of the Cody Elks Club for the past 16 years. The Elks are known for their work with veterans, needy children, and various youth activities. Jerry has served as the Elks' Exalted Ruler and State President, and he currently serves as the local Secretary.

As a Councilmember, Jerry is particularly proud of assisting the startup of the Traffic Committee and developing Cody's Tipsy Taxi Program.

Jerry is most passionate about his wife and helping those in need, including veterans and underprivileged children.
